    joystick on BF1942?

    im not sure if its convenient to buy a joystick for this game(first of all, is it possible :p). i do like flying games so i might need the joystick later on...

    sooo.. any opinion is Ok.

    p.s if anyone has played any of the BF games with a joystick PLZ post an opinion :D

    I use a joystick in BF2.

    A joystick was a must in BF2, it was a nightmare flying the planes and helicopters without one. The controls for the aircraft in BF2142 are easy to handle with the keyboard. If you are planning to get a decent flight sim then a joystick is a major must.

    and do you use it on vechicules(airplanes,etc) only.. or do you use it on everything(the person, vechicles, turrents, etc)?

    only for aircraft in BF2 and 1942, not needed for cars, tanks, soldiers etc

    cool!! :p so you mean that when i enter the airplane i get the joystick right and viceversa? and will the joystick be compatible with my lappy?

    I fly planes and helicopters in bf2 with a mouse and keyboard and find it much more effective than a keyboard.

    It is not a must, it is user preference.

    but maybe with a laptop its harder with a mouse?¿

    yeah a usb mouse is essential for on a laptop when playing bf games. I have both mouse, joystick and numberpad all plugged in for playing games

    yeah, i would love having that but i got "poor" with the money i spent on my lappy.... thx for the opinions :D

    p.s .. so im gonna have to use the joystick on the soldier, or just on planes?cuz i dont plan playing soldier with a joystick :p you just use it when you get on the plane right?
