just bought skyrim now what?

what am i supposed to do?
where do i go?
any missions?

 

Just go explore. None of the story is really all the great; so the game's mainly about traveling the world and doing whatever you want.

If you were looking for a directive based game you're going to be horribly disappointed.

 

I did the main storyline until I got Fus Roh Dah and Whirlwind sprint then went on my way. spent about 30 hours just exploring and doing random quests. finished Dark brotherhood and almost thieves guild. Just get out there and find stuff.

 

Eat some food, and use the bathroom. It's going to be a long time before you see daylight...

 

I suggest you say good bye to all of your friends..

 

Get knee armor.

Try starting the game first.

After the introduction and tutorial, you will have a couple quest objectives, and you can find more stuff to do quite literally everywhere.

 

Install re-texture mods. Save gameplay mods for later after you've sampled the vanilla gameplay

 

I just bought Skyrim, but before I could play it, I took an arrow to the knee.

EDIT: Damn, my arrow-to-knee joke was beaten by another arrow-to-knee joke. Sad times

yea ive been exploring. pretty neat world...pretty funny killing dogs alot of satisfaction.

was wondering about the story though, i thought it would be more like the witcher...owell each game to its own.

 

Coincidentally they don't appreciate taking an arrow in the other knee...

I was going to post an "arrow to the knee" joke, but then it stopped being funny two days after the game was released.

 

Game is really starting to develop for me now, went from being total noob with no skills and no idea what to do and now after just finishing the companions quest chain I have a good understanding of the game, got to understand how vast it is, and started to get some good talents and skills to make the game fun.

Unfortunately I've hardly had time to play Skyrim at all since I started SWTOR...I must amend that soon. My Imperial warrior's been sitting at level 30 for weeks.

Haha, make a blacksmith and laugh at mobs doing ridiculous damage. Thats what i did but... only if you like spending more them 60-70+ hours.
