    lag on acer aspire 7520G

    hello, i have an acer aspire 7520G, and once in a while if i run like 2 browser windows msn and music i get lags especially in the sound.
    my main problem is that im a lineage 2 player and i need to use ventrilo at the same time, and when i have both programs on my ventrilo ping rises to 15000+
    and i cant either talk or understand what everyone is saying. when this happens my gameplay gets a lot of lag too. any ideas? thanks in advance!

    other than the usual "make sure the computer is in high performance mode" and/or plugged in, make sure you dont have any antivirus running in the background.
    it could also be a driver conflict (my graphics card drivers cause problems every now and then, especially when scrolling through itunes). make sure all your drivers are up to date by checking the manufacturers website. (graphics, sound, wifi, bios, hard drives, dvd drives, etc)

    could you also post the specs of your laptop and how long you have had it? cheers
