I have an Acer Aspire 4720, i can play CS and NBA Live 06 just fine on it but it crashes after about 10-30 mins when playing Warcraft III. I'm pretty sure my laptop is fairly powerful enough to run it so what seems to be the problem? I suspect it may have something to do about my CPU or graphics card overheating but i'm not sure.

Here are relevant laptop specs btw.

    Intel Core 2 Duo T520 1.5 GHZ
    2 GB RAM
a built in graphics card with 384 RAM.

Hmm. . . perhaps, just thinking a crazy though., your cpu might be too fast to run the game properly. Some people have problems running warcraft III on other systems. The solution is to slow down your processor using dosbox. I don't know if it will help in your particular situation seeing as I don't know what the bsod says but it is worth a shot. If you aren't familiar with it dosbox it is a program that allows modern(relative term) computers to run OLD games that will not work on them because the processors are too fast. It is very stable and well supported.

    Give it a shot.

See this guide on monitoring your notebook temps to see if your laptop is overheating while playing.

However, I don't think your laptop is overheating because you can play those other games fine.
