    laptop keeps freezing while playing games.

    i'm using a dell vostro 1500 with a 6800gt video card and modified desktop firmware.

    whenever i play games, the game plays fine for a little bit and then turns black, and repeats a 1 second loop of sound. in a minute or so, the screen turns back to normal and i can play for a little bit before this occurs again.

    i'm a noob so sorry if my problem is an easy fix. could someone please help me?

    Update your drivers and defrag your HDD first, that might help.
