I have done research but I am still torn between the two. Does anyone have benchmarks on these 2 drivers? Tyvm

i'm also interested, played bioshock for a couple mins, seemed a little bit jittery compared to 44's
-
Alot of people saying the opposite, that Bioshock is either the same or better, but vast majority saying that Medal of Honor is seeing very noticable performance increase.
-
hmm... gots to try it again, maybe i had some stuff running in the background or something...
-
I noticed basically the same performance in the BioShock demo, maybe a slight increase at 1280x800 (seems more fluid now, though FRAPS still reports atrocious framerates). I don't have MoH:A on my laptop yet to check, maybe I'll try that later. CS:S had a slight (1-2 fps) drop in performance with AA, but gained about 1-2 fps without it.

Tiger Woods 08, Call of Duty 2, and Quake Wars Demo all seem better to me with the .67
-
My Bioshock experience improved considerably compared to the .44. I can now play the game with higher setting and it doesn't feel jittery at all unlike the .44.
I would recommend this driver if you have an 8XXXm series card. -
Yeah check out my sig.. think I'll try out the .67 tonight

Exact same BenchMark results with both.. I had the 163.44 when the BioShock demo was released, now i have ugraded to 163.67 (which also supports BioShock). I recomend going with the 163.67 as they are newer. I have no idea what issues they have fixed, but again, as i noted earlier, exact same BenchMark results as the older 163.44.

proof below.
Left 163.44 and right newly installed 163.67.
Nothing running besides 3dmark06, each test was run at beginning of each boot, @ 1280x800 default settings.Attached Files:

i got the same exact result in 3dmark with these..
-
Which cards are you using?
For 8x00M cards, me got 200+ boost in 3dmark06... -

A performance in MoH:A huh? Finally. Just what I need.
-
i got a 8600m...games run good, i guess...but like i said, 3dmark didn't show anything spectacular, which i don't really care for...
-
my CSS stress test stayed the same on my 8600m gt

where can I download the 163.67? I don't see it on laptopvideo2go

isnt v165.01 the latest version? Why arn't people downloading this driver?
-
the 165.01 is a very old driver, look at the release date on it. It's the .xx that matters when it comes to lv2g drivers.
laptopv2go 163.67 > 163.44 ?
