I just got a new notebook with a 8600M GS graphics card and I am wondering if the laptopvideo2go drivers mess with some of the power saving features. Like will PowerMizer be disabled? And if it does lower the battery life, by approximately how much will it?
Thanks

169.09 drivers here, Powermizer works fine. No effect on battery life.

some do disable it but most dont and work fine

thanks, and how much do you think the performance will increase. Right now I got a new HP pavillion dv9644ca with a Nvidia 8600M GS. And this vista score show up at 4.9 for gaming graphics. I mainly play games like call of duty 4 and age of empires 3. So what is your estimated % increase. Thanks!

You won't be able to know what kind of percentage increase in performance you'll get unless you run some benchmarks with your current drivers, then install the new ones and run more benchmarks. So basically what I'm saying is that there is no way to predict what sort of performance increases you'll get.
The drivers that most manufacturers send on their notebooks are usually very outdated so you should see a few FPS more with the latest drivers. -
Thanks. I guess I will test it out and see how it goes
laptopvideo2go and battery life?
