    well first of all what laptop do you have, not all laptops are upgradeable, and contact any clevo/sager reseller and ask for a 7970m upgrade kit, unless you have a dell, then ask dell for an upgrade kit, but make sure your laptop can be upgraded.

    I'm going to go out on the limb and say that the Samsung uses proprietary MXM and that your only bet is another Samsung 7970M. The current-gen and previous-gen notebook chassis' look almost the same, so I'd assume the internals are the same as well. If you look at the last-gen notebook, the 6970M was in a proprietary format, ala Asus, so I'd expect the same from the current-gen. I wouldn't bank on standard MXM cards fitting the board or working properly, it looks to be flipped.

    i agree, wait until it comes out for your laptop and then order it from samsung.
