Starcraft and Warcraft is kinda about killing again even if it is not graphical.

The Sims and the other Sim games like Sim City are good games.
Have a look at the "The Incredible Machine" series. I loved them all even the old ones are still great fun.
Sport games depending what he likes. They are more fun with a game pad. Or Sports managment.

Guys he's 15 not 5....At that age I'd have taken massive offense to people treating me like a baby by trying to get me to play non-violent games only.

Let him have fun playing whatever he wants, maybe he'll prefer peaceful games anyway, or maybe not, but don't try and restrict him at that age!

nope,he used to play too much violent game such as GTA:vice city,Halo,Serious Sam,Fear,Far Cry,Doom3... and he and his mum totally agree that he should play some funny game as i told you before in order to keep him playing game

Some violent games make him hurt wrist and eyes due to spend a lot time front of screen running and killing

Trying to scale him back that drastically probably won't work.
I would go the RTS route; command and conquer, starcraft, age of empires, that sort of thing. More thinking/strategy, less twitch reflex.

check out SAM & MAX, it's a lot of fun, and has absolutely no violence in it. it's a nice mix of adventure, puzzle sloving, and humor, the game follows an episodic format, and there might be 5 episodes available for download right now.

uhh.. I say if hes 15 and asking his older brother to find a "3D games" for him, and for some reason he cant just google some by himself..?

I dont think he'll mind what kind of game he plays. Sims was a good idea, that game can be played for some older ages too.

And I still play Starcraft sometimes, its got alot of players online and its still fun.
