    have you looked at the system requirements for half life 2 lost coast!!! min video card is a 6800 or x800. then you have to have a gig of ram... but the installation didnt like my pentium m... i cant believe it but im running the lowest in the recommended hardware requirements... what has the world come to

    Lost coast is only recognizing the baseline CPU Speed. Remember that your M runs basically at 1.5 x a standard P4
    So a Pent M 2ghz runs like a Pent 4 3.0ghz

    Yeah, my 1.6ghz PM was more than enough for Lost Coast. To put it in your own words, it puts Lost Coast to shame :) Running it all on medium/high with smooth fps... your 1.86 should handle better than mine.

    Hm...I guess I didn't see this thread when I put up my other one...oh well. It's cool.

    Yeah - what an awesome chapter of HL2. HDR is amazing - I am playing it on my 256MB X700 at 1280x768 with max + Full HDR + 2X AF no problem... :)

    yeah, the 6800 makes the water look so real... if this is the future of the half life engine, im ready for it
