anyone here plaing LOTRO on an x1400?
Dell has a sweet deal on the 6400's right now and its rather tempting.
I'd be happy if the card could pull off 'medium' setting

Your fine , it scores higher than the yougamers.com minimum system requirements and that definitely means its playable (their minimum system is always much higher than the publisher minimum system). Also take a look at their 8-page review on the game itself.

I have not played lotro on an x1400. I have played DDO on a x600 (just a tad slower than a x1400). DDO and lotro are both turbine games and from appearances look like they are running the same graphic engine. I could be wrong, but I digress. You will most likely be running low/med settings. If you only have one gig of ram in the laptop, low settings. If you have 2 gig, you can squeeze some medium settings in there too. I am currently playing lotro on a go7700 at 1680x1050 with all high settings (lotro has ultra high settings, use at your own risk) with decent frame rates. Honestly, if you want a mobile gamer, get something better. I liked my HP with the x600, but I love my Asus G1.
lotro + x1400
