hmm..for some reason im getting pretty low scores in 3D Mark. i just ran 06, and had like 233 i think. i have a x1400, and ive seen higher scores, so i dont know why its so low. im about to run 05 and see what happens

Have you defragged your hard drive lately and cleared out unnecessary programs that Dell loaded on your notebook when you first got it? I would make sure your notebook is up to snuff in that respect and then run it again.

Make sure powerplay is turned off and make sure you aren't set on any max battery type setting.

on the desktop right click>properties>settings>advanced and check your 3d settings to make sure that texture preference and mipmap detail are towards the left on the performance side. Then make sure anti aliasing and anisotropic fitlering are on application preference. there should also be a powerplay tab and make sure that everything is set at maximum performance even if it's off. Also, when you run your test turn off wireless, close firewall, antivirus, unnecesary background processes, quickset, etc.

1779 in 05 is good for a x1400...but other users overclocked their x1400 to get 2200 in 3dmark05...hint: the x1400 has alot of OC potential!!1

No, you have to delete them. It's supposed to look like that.

If you are having booting problems, I'd go into Safe Mode (press F8 on startup until you get a black screen, select safe mode and it [Enter]). You should be able to remove the drivers from there with no problems. You might think about using DriverCleaner Pro to completely clear your system.
