Just so you know (incase you dont) Alienware tested their links for m15x and m17x laptops apparently coming out on the 19th of november 2007

This has been the best news ive heard in the past 9 months since ive gotten my crappy laptop...

I am just telling you I will probably "spam" on about questions and stuff even once I get my new m15x :) Its just that I like to learn new things :p

Link (probably down by now) for the m15x config

    http://www.alienware.com/Configurat...?syscode=PC-LT-AREA51M17x&SubCode=SKU-DEFAULT

    Link for the m17x

    http://www.alienware.com/Configurat...?syscode=PC-LT-AREA51M17x&SubCode=SKU-DEFAULT

Im happy I left this window open... Im not closing it until its back up

Just so you know m15x gets only one 8800gtx (still AMAZING for a 15 incher) and m17x gets 8800gtx sli

The price for the m15x is apparently $1299 which is so good I could dance naked without being ashamed... And the m17x starting price was pretty darn high compared to the m15x...

I hope this marks the begining of the dawn of 17+ inch notebooks and the uprising of 15 inch gaming which is perfect

Fully customized with 2.0 ghz c2d 160gb hdd 7200rpm 8800gtx 1440*900 choice of color for free 2gb ram 1gb robson only 2400... that beats the XPS1730 (3000 bucks +) in price and insanely more power and its a 15 inch beating a 17 inch... the m17x will be whipping XPS1730 @ss forever

    All hail Alienware...

PS: im writting a letter to them right now... for thanking for their AWESOME company and products... and maybe going to make a presentation of them in BST (which will maybe give me a rebate of hopefully 10% or more and some stuff... since its "free advertising" for them...)

Go buy the damn thing when it's released. You keep going on about getting a new laptop that needs either SLI or a high end DX10 card. Fill out the FAQ on the what to buy forum, borrow or beg your parents for the money to buy the system and pick it up when it's released after the 19th of this month.

If you want to learn things perhaps reading through past threads on similar topics posted over the last 2 months would be helpful instead of spamming the forums like a troll.

Dell own Alienware by the way, so don't be surprised if the XPS gets refreshed with similar hardware.

If the new card really fits into a 15" then the possibility of my Vostro getting a graphics card upgrade becomes remotely possible. Too bad upgrading would probably void my warranty and the odds of it being available will be close to zero especially if Dell had to redesign their card slot to accommodate the new card design.

The 8800 fitting into the M15x is insane considering most people thought they would be able to fit the 8700 and all its "power".

Yeah I agree, you make many threads which are related to the same thing. Hell this thread wasn't even needed since theres one in the news bits and all you did is make a thread off of what someone else posted.

Really? When you post 3-4 threads of an extremely similar nature it's hard not to be accused of spamming. Now that the new card is coming out why don't you wait until the 19th when they release the official specifications and then you can decide what you want to customise your machine. You have been asking which card to get and what machine to buy over the past 2 months and each time your question typically revolves around the graphics card so I find it incredulous that you're actually "learning" when the answers provided by others are virtually the same each time.

I seriously doubt AW will give you a discount on your "dream machine" if you give a presentation in a style similar to your forum posting.

hehe... well my social skills are most definatly better than writing online and trying to figure out stuff...

I have been asking 3-4 times the same thing about the FAQ (only) and twice on 8800 cards since the only response given was answers ranging from "Alienware will have them first" to "Zepto already has a 8800m in their notebooks *the guy ment 8600*"

If the 8800GTX is put into the xps1530 my decision is made 0,0 talk about an arm and a leg though.
