    medieval total war 2 online porblem

    When i try to get online it says invalid cd key, i put my cd key in and it doesnt work. Ive reinstalled the game and online doesnt work. The game isnt second hand. Any ideas on what the problem is?

    Well...
    a) I doubt the Medieval 2 TW servers are still alive
    b) I doubt you'll find anyone on those servers
    c) How long has it been between the time you bought it and activated it? I think there's the possibility that someone with a random key generator got lucky
