is there any way to change specific graphical settings in this game aside from normal, high etc.
i want to remove anti aliasing and turn on a few features manually.

well anything apart from Very High settings has AAA off, so leave the Anti Aliasing setting on AAA and put graphics quality on High or anything lower and it will be disabled. i don't know any way of manually changing individual settings although i am sure someone somewhere has done it.

what could course "tearing" in the scree3n, i mean when i like move the camera left or right some parts of the screen will be fine but others take that little bit longer and create this weird screen tearing thing, anyway to fix that?

sorry to kinda hi-jack the thread but thought it would be better to place it here then in a whole new thread as it has something to do with the settings of the game :)

Screen tearing is caused by the game outputting a frame rate that is higher than your monitor can support. It can be fixed by enabling VSYNC, either through the graphics options in your individual games (which sometimes does not work even if it is enabled) or through something like D3DOverrider (always works, at least for me).

use Catalyst control center and permanently enable vsync there (i assume this is for your desktop and it having a 5850 i assume u have CCC)

EDIT: I probably assumed wrong, as I'm pretty sure Armageddon knows where CCC is :p. I can't find V-Sync either.

open CCC up (make sure you are in 'advanced' and not 'basic')
in the top left dropdown menu go to 3D
press the 'ALL' tab in there
scroll down and it is 'Wait for Vertical Refresh'
move the bar towards quality and it will always be on
