    My 3650 (dell studio 1737) won't overclock with these new drivers. I've tried GPU tool and Rivatuner (after modding cfg).

    The clock speeds seem to stick on the sliders in both programs, but the speeds don't actually change.

    Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    You should look what others have posted when overclokcing that specific card. Usually +10% is a safe bet. Taka into account the extra heat you will produce.

    I hope it helps.

    Yeah get MSI afterburner and edit the CFG file in the program's folder with notepad, change the line "enable unofficial overclocking" to equal 1, then save. Also get GPU-Z to confirm whether the clock speeds have actually been applied.

    Now you can start raising the clockspeeds by a few mhz, then test with a game. For my OC'd 512MB 3410, I noticed that there were two "stable" sets of clocks, a "game-stable" state with higher clocks where I would be able to play intensive games without noticeable artifacts or crashing, but I would still encounter artifacts in GPU stress testing apps, and a "artifact stable" state where while running GPU stress test apps(generally a animation of some sort)I would no longer encounter any artifacts.

    So it basically makes the GPU stress testing apps less important, test with games because that's what you'll be using your GPU for, and you'll likely be able to achieve a set of higher stable "game stable" clockspeeds where you can game with no noticeable artifacts or crashing, but the GPU stress testing app shows artifacts.

    It was actually funny in my case-with no GPU overclocking, you'd see a muzzleflash and sparks when you fired a shotgun in Halo: CE, but with my "game stable" state, realistic-looking flames(They look as if they were meant to be there as part of the muzzleflash) now appear when I fire the same shotgun, so in my case overclocking enhanced the visual effects without tweaking any settings.

    Well, im still unable to overclock. I got MSI Afterburner and changed:

    EnableUnofficialOverclocking = 1

    The sliders stick, but the actual GPU speed doesn't change. It was doing this same thing to me with GPUtool and Rivatuner (with edited cfg for 3650)

    If i change clock speeds in one program, it will show up in the others on the sliders, but no change to the actual GPU speed occurs.

    Go into the Catalyst control center and toggle powerplay off, then on.

    Is it crucial that you have 10.3? Because I'm running a Mobility Modded 10.1, and I'm using GU Tool, and it works fine, at 725Mhz Core, and 575Mhz Memory.

    Also, why are your clockspeeds so low? The default clock speeds for this are supposed to be 600Mhz Core, and 500Mhz Memory. Has Dell underclocked that card by default?

    Yeah, Dell totally gimped the 3650 in the studio laptops by dropping the speed, i can run it fine at 675 usually, they also put ing DDR2 in it. really kinda pisses me off.

    This pisses me off too with HP but nowadays , dell and hp usually put DDR3 memory in...
