    modern warfare 2 problem

    so i just picked up modern warfare 2 and i played through about 6 missions in the campain and then got off (after clicking save and quit of course) then when i come back it wants me to start at the beginning of the game. so i re did those missions and a few more and then save and quit again, this time going to the menu. it still wants me to friggin start from the beginning. how do i start at my saved game?

    If you have the Steam copy, are you connected to Steam Cloud properly?

    Hmm, I thought that the single player campaign did not save to the STEAM Cloud. Only the MP does.

    No, only your multiplayer rank (along with unlocks and stuff) gets stored on the Steam Cloud. Campaign and Special Ops data is stored locally.

    this whole game is a steaming pile of ditigal crap...served in a cheap DVD box FOR JUST 60 $..........................................2012 is really getting near us....

    When did this happen? Curious b/c I haven't played in about 2 weeks, but before that I know people weren't getting their saves after a reformat.. so I backed up my player folder for when I receive in my laptop.

    lol no problems here...u might have a faulty copy or faulty install... reinstall and see if it happens again...

    i second reinstalling. it's too weird of an issue.
