    my BFG lifetime warrenty and the 7800GTX

    My card manufacturer offered a life time warranty. If my old card was to mysteriously break in the next few days what do you think they would replace it with?

    Is this a sensible upgrade route

    depends on the fine print of the warranty. some lifetime warrantys say for the life of the product, and a products life ends when its discontinued.

    i think asking questions like that, is trying to cheat insurance ... and that's illegal :)
