my laptop as wind

with all this heat the moment i try to play games the fan goes in to overdrive ,what is the most cost effective way to cool my lappy for the summer.

Also, see if there is dust clogging things up, and blow it out if necessary.

EDIT: I also used to raise up the back of my laptop with a book, which cooled it down by a few degrees. It's a good short term solution.

 

i double that. Or you can search the forums. I remember this one guy that made a cooling pad with some boxes

 

i,ve put coasters under each corner just to try and have more air going under the machine lol
