    This driver is awesome. Finally it supports G53SW users OTB without mod the driver.
    Its more stable, no more TDR, its fine with OC, plus it has a wide array of optimizations.
    Great driver as always nvidia, really good work.

    they are on the official website but only for the 500 mobile cards and nothing lower. they may be updating the site as we type.

    Notebook links work. I downloaded it directly from the nvidia website. And it was available from the website the moment this post was started. Dunno why some of you couldn't find it. Downloaded it but didn't install it yet. No electricity right now so can't switch my laptop on (it ran out of charge) :(

    I still dont find them. I thought this was "finished" WQL drivers :(

    Only 285.38 under beta drivers and 280.26 as WQL drivers....am lost

    I just installed this driver, picked "custom installation" and then checked the box for "clean install" or whatever. It will remove the old driver for you and install this one. Worked fine for me.

    A proper clean way to reinstall drivers can be found in the guide in my sig.
    Unfortunately using clean install in nvidia setup doesn't get rid of the old files, just settings.
    Most of those files are locked in the os for various reasons such Antiviruses, paging file etc.
    Using driver sweeper method in safe mode get rid completely of the old files for a new installation.

    I have an HDX with 8800m GTS and this driver performs better and looks better (more vivid) in both games (DA:O, SC2, FO3) and bench marks. Idle and max temp is about 3-5 degrees higher, but well within limits/preferences. But the BEST thing for me is it is the first driver I can use since the 197 series that doesn't lock up my laptop when browsing/using flash. :D

    I think you might have to take it with a grain of salt now that I think about it though...all those titles came out since the last time I was able to keep an updated driver (maybe not DA:O), so I'm just now able to fully utilize all the particular game related enhancements that usually come with new driver releases. That is assuming nVidia keeps settings that enhance certain games as the driver updates evolve. I obviously can't speak to a comparison between this driver and more recent drivers.

    The Witcher 2 is another title that has increased performance as well.

    Yep, you'll have to buy a new laptop as your laptop as far as I know does not have removeable grapichcard.. Beside that, this is a nVidia driver, and you have ATI card, so this driver won't work on your system :D
