    I'm wondering how long I can cling to 471.96? I suppose when I finally submit to Win 11 (not anytime soon) I will have to eat this DCH bullet as well.

    You can install non-DCH drivers on Windows 11. If you're not playing a game where the developer acts like a Nazi and forces you to use a specific driver version or newer to play, then it shouldn't be an issue. Anyone that is playing the Windows Store game and drinking the Micro$lop Game Studios Kool-Aid is just screwed. Those muppets do not get to choose what drivers to install or what Windows version they want to run.

    The only way to combat stupidity is to bring a gun to a knife fight. It might suck short-term, but no pain, no gain. If you punch them in the wallet hard enough, they will pay attention.     So they release a hotfix the same time they release WHQL drivers now days? b. If the previous instructions do not work, upgrade to the hotfix driver 496.84

    Since this driver is not fixing but just acknowledging the gamma issue while watching video introduced in the previous driver I'll be staying on 496.13 for now.
