    Because it is still superior by nearly every measurement and lots of people still use it, and will continue to use it. Plus, it doesn't need testing because it is not a perpetual beta OS that is never the same long enough to become a stable product.

    I stopped using their "support" for it more than 5 years ago, just as I do not use their "support" for their crappy new substitute (Windoze OS X). Life is just better without all of their chaos, bugs and placebo malware updates.
