Maybe they forgot to indicate the size of the file so that field has no data to display.

less people overclocking than not? Or it's some other problem that isn't shared with many users that is less generalized. If it was widespread and not dependent on a smaller subset nVidia probably would have seen it in their own testing.

I figure a huge amount of PC gamers are using afterburner with some sort of tuning, whether it's downclocking or overclocking. Doesn't matter what clock changes you make, it crashes. Can't imagine it's that small of a group.

Yeah it's only a matter of time before a hotfix is released since this is going to cause a ton of issues for gaming laptops as people update.

I always overclock for the sake of overclocking lol. Just enthusiast things.

Speaking of which, @Papusan, I'm running the latest 466.27 drivers and all overclocks are stable. Only gripe being old 460.87 vs new 466.27 which is supposedly optimised for Metro Exodus Enhanced doesn't do jack for performance. If anything its 0.5% slower

Dell probably asked NVIDIA to do something to block GPU overclocking with the latest driver on all of their hardware IDs.

No need for Nvidia release a Hotfix driver if Dell have asked for help :D

The circle is finally complete. TCC Offset from Dell for the Cpu and clock block drivers from Nvidia. Can’t be better than this @Falkentyne

And I’m sure you bro Fox still haven’t forgot why you struggled with drivers on your Alienware’s.

I have not and never will. That was one of my first wake-up calls alerting me to their aspirations to become the industry's masters of digital garbage.

It totally amazes me--not in a good way--that people continue buying castrated rubbish from Dell/Alienware under the notion that they are purchasing an enthusiast product. The exact opposite it true. In all cases they are buying crippled products that have abnormal functional limitations created and caused by Dell.

The thread in the link below is a good example of inexcusable nonsense that is fabricated and unique to Dell/Alienware.

Aurora R12, 11900KF, will this 3600MHz ram work? | Dell Community
The answer is no only because it is an Alienware and, as such, it doesn't function correctly. (The answer would be yes on another brand.)
