Still no working Gsync and Brightness with these drivers on my Clevo P775DM3-G, only ghetto fix to get both working is to install 376.60 Hotfix and update to latest drivers via device manager

Well most of the time its not issues that it creates but more so issues that still exists hence that's why theres hotfixes that come out for more prominent issues. There are people who submit issues they're having all the time so they usually list some of those if they're known/haven't been fixed rather than issues being created by the driver themselves. Its kinda just a list to say 'hey I know you guys keep asking if these have been fix on this version, but nope look its still on the list!'.

Well for, that the driver feedback site would have to work, i want to report the gsync brightness issue since the first 378.xx and the only screen i get is

Access Denied

will see how ME runs with the new driver for me.

 

PCGamer just did an Andromeda benchmark article and said that a Nvidia rep said that this driver is aimed to increase the performance of SLI configurations and shouldn't impact single GPU performance much.

That's if you believe PCGamer anyway.

 

yeah, not much improvement for single GPUs so ME:A needs a patch or three. less concerned about animations and more about optimization.

 

Sort of figured ME:A would do better with some optimization and driver maturation, that's why I started Styx: SoD last week.

 

I ran into a version of this, but in my case, it didn't so much fail as take an insanely long time. It appeared to get stuck in the "Preparing to Install" phase, but I didn't see a way to stop it short of rebooting the computer and I was doing something else at the time so I let it run. When I came back to check up on it in 15 minutes (or maybe even half an hour), it had gotten past this phase and the rest of the install went smoothly.

 

G-Sync is broken with these drivers as well. Lots of frame rate stuttering and eventual crashes when the v-sync settings are adjusted in order to get G-Sync fully operational. Back to 378.66 again.

 

what's wrong with 378.78?

 

It would throw up an error whenever I tried to install it.

 

I tried downloading 378.78 3 times, it won't install because if you try to extract it, the file is corrupt:
