Here's something from the Geforce Forum discussing it: Control Panel Crash.
So, if this control panel breaks the broken control panel on the 382.05/382.19 version, will it make it functional?
Can't really risk it on my end until I see the fix written in the changelog.

What is wrong with GTX970m, it is always the only Maxwell chip with list of problems in drivers' release notes.

man i swear, i'll never update again anything else on my pc until i have a need to update ie something not working.
i updated to these drivers today and i noticed some FPS drop on the division.. so i wanted to roll back to previous ones so i used DDD to do a clean install.. at first it was all right.. but then i noticed that i would keep getting the fps drop PLUS new random crashes of the graphic drivers.. i had done a restore point but at that point i thought it was just too messy and restored an image of 10 days ago -_- / ( thanks god reflect )
    i'm done updating stuff

gsync black screen flickering, with the first W10 CU drivers, namely 381.65 everything works.

Small update on this: the flickering happens only when skipping the videos. If you let it play without skipping there won't be any flickering. How is this possible? I've read somewhere it could be a buffering issue.

What video player? are you using madVR Rendered by any chance? What system? SLI or single GPU? It would help if you put your system specs in your signature

It happens only when watching Youtube videos. How do i see if i'm using MadVR?

I'm running a GT62VR with a GTX 1060, so Single GPU. I still haven't found a proper way to put my specs into the signature without it looking crap, any help is appreciated

if you don't know whether you're running madVR or not, then you don't have it :D

for the signature, copy/paste my signature, then edit the specs to yours. simply!

Then copy/paste the images if you like and put them in the [IMG]

I have just tested Rise of the Tomb Raider on my GT73VR 7RF and tried out 382.33 and 381.89.

Is it me or G-Sync is working better with 381.89? Game with the older driver feels smother and there is less blurr effect on the edges (at least in DX12, I did not try DX11).

the previous hotfix caused my external screen to flicker whenever i open and closed the laptop and that caused a win32kfull.sys BSOD for some reason (I was playing a video at the time).

this driver doesn't do that and i like that.

running j95´s mod of this version, no problems thus far. fun fact: i can underclock my 980M further than before, i got 270 Mhz on core and 90 Mhz on VRAM (180 Mhz DDR), me likes :D

aside from that, im probably the wrong guy to ask for gaming stability atm, im playing C&C tiberian dawn / Bioshock 1 / Titan Quest / Wolfenstein - The Old Blood

    Classics, baby! :D

You could ask this question to 100 different people and get 100 different answers. Unfortunately, the only way to truly know what works best for your particular machine is to try a few sets out yourself. At the same time, if all your applications are working properly, there's no need to fix what is not broken.

It's working for me. The question I have though is if it's improving image quality when using it because I don't notice any difference at all. Maybe because of the small size of 17" screen. When you're using it, do you notice any difference?

I just want to see how a 1070 notebook can handle a "faux-K" experience.
