First observation, they fixed the bug where if you have a G-Sync monitor, even though you had selected enable G-Sync for Full Screen mode only and not Windowed + Full Screen mode, you would still have G-Sync enabled all the time in both Windowed and Full Screen mode and because of G-Sync enabled in Windowed mode as in, for all applications, that used to cause screen tearing sometimes in Windows applications.

Now when I installed these driver after wiping the old ones with DDU and rebooted, I again saw that G-Sync was enabled everywhere, the trick is to disable G-Sync then re-enable it again for Full Screen Mode and this time you would actually have G-Sync enabled only for full screen apps.

 

Nevermind, spoke too soon. After a reboot, even though G-Sync is only set for Full screen apps, I got the red LED indicator on the bottom right of my ASUS PG278Q indicating G-Sync is on! These clowns at nVIDIA simply cannot produce a bug free driver!

 

Brother has same issue.

Put this driver on my 680M, MSI 1762.
