Wonder if this is the driver that contains the fix for G-Sync that has been an issue on all releases subsequent to 378.92.

@Papusan The driver is just like nvidia wanted. Look carefully at the last two digits. Still, no OpenCL 2.1 support on nVidia maxwell and later. Intel and Amd has them for ages. I'm not touching drivers unless @j95 releases modded drivers. No more increase in scores after driver updates, seems like they are tired of it.
BTW, I don't nVidia forums and follow Reddit. -

First couple reports are indicating that the G-Sync issues on external monitors have not been fixed.

How are the drivers @Papusan did it pass your tests?

It doesn't exactly INSPIRE confidence that they list it as a gtx 1080 issue when my 1070 has the exact same issue with gsync.
I hope they fix gsync because for competitive gaming it is far superior to free sync. Gsync actually alters when the screen refreshes to be right after the frame is ready. Free sync will keep pushing data to the monitor at all times. The buffer between frames is turned into vertical total that is not displayed and the input lag is greater. It is easier to support even some crts can do free sync. But for competitive gaming or if you just want to have lower input lag gsync is the way to go. -
Let's try this one.

Someone enlighten me - what exactly is the purpose of using the j95 driver, aside from allowing it to install on a machine that may have a GPU in it that wasn't there originally (eg a MSI GTX 1060 installed in a Clevo laptop)?

Is it best to run these desktop modded drivers with windows 7 or windows 10??
i'm still on win 7 pro x64Vasudev likes this. -
I haven't encountered any major issues either these drivers.

I will test them and report back in a couple of days. Then again, I forgot to tag @j95 about 980m and above gpus on alienwares.
