Don't see it mentioned in the release notes (or maybe I missed it), but does this driver fix the color correction resetting that came up after the W10 fall creator's abortion?

 

guys dont update.. LOL.. I am playing PUBG and updated right away as it is game ready for PUBG.. After updating, it is causing my PUBG to crash and freeze on overwatch.. hahahahahahha.. awesome nvidia.. weeeeeeeeeeee

So far so good...will report if I encounter an issue.

 

Installed them express in GFE like usual. Like usual, zero issues.

 

@j95 tried to install the driver mod and getting the following result in games:

PUBG = Able to load to start menu & play

Deux Mankind Divided = Able to load to start menu & play including in game benchmark

Injustice 2= Crash after loading screen

Nba2k18 = Able to load to start menu & play

Quake Champions = Able to load to start menu & play

Assassin Creed Black Flag (Single Player) = Able to load to start menu & play

Ghost Recon Wildlands = Able to load to start menu but the display will start a weird behavior of blinking/flashing into black screen

The Division = Able to load to start menu & play but flickering/blinking/flashing into black screen is evident in game and built in benchmark

Rainbow Six Siege = Able to load to start menu & play but : refer to pics




So after trying these games I tried to do the following commands to repair if any system files are corrupt within my system

dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /source:WIM:X:\Sources\Install.wim:1 /LimitAccess
sfc /scannow

Then re-run the games and the result are all the same with the exception of Ghost Recon Wildlands. It became worst to point it's causing my computer to hang. At one point I was able to get inside the game and run the built in benchmark but it's getting 2 fps.

 

how the heck do you guys get all these errors....and they are working yet again flawlessly with me

 

some of the games issues could be specific to the 1080 and SLI.

 

Not sure but I did used the previous version of the mod and never face the same issues. Tried to install it w/o the mod and everything is working fine.

Hmm maybe with my installation process. After disabling driver signature is it suppose to show the message "windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software"? I disabled driver signature via troubleshoot in settings.

make sure you're doing the shift+restart method. press 7 or F7 when the option appears.

 

It's pretty much the same as going to settings right? Your method is just a shortcut. Do you get the same message after disabling the driver signature?

Yes, I do. If DSE was not disabled (aka normal mode) the installer would say that it couldn't find the GPU - it would never install since the 1070 I am using is not officially compatible with my laptop.

There's no visual indicators to tell you that DSE is disabled before you start the driver install. if you get the error message then you know you're DSE is disabled.

Eurocom gave me kindly drivers recently but it was not the last ones (i need to play BattleFront 2 <388.31)

what are the extra 4 digits that 0870 for me. Is it this value that needs to changed to match those in the driver?

 

I installed a Windows 10 on my M6700 upgraded with 980M and these v388.71 drivers installed without any modifications to the inf file which was news to me as I always had to mod them on the Windows 7 )since only some Quadro cards are whitelisted for it).

Is this a Win 10 thing or has there been some change in the inf files of the latest drivers?

 

Try those ones... they always up-to-date and they got good mods on it.
