Nope, Time Spy is still an unstable piece of garbage benchmark. But, I think this driver is OK. I just ran this.

Is you able to install last/previous Nvidia driver? I mean previous also was for 1903.

 

Run DDU first and clean out all of the DCH feces? Windows 10 had installed the DCH excrement on me behind my back on 1903 and without running DDU and then uninstalling NVIDIA Control Panel UWP app dung first I got exactly the same error on my desktop. After taking out the trash, it installed without a hitch.

 

Clean up with DDU as mentioned by bro Fox and try latest DCH filthy (Notebooks) http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/430.86/430.86-notebook-win10-64bit-international-dch-whql.exe

UNINSTALL: “APPS AND FEATURES” UNINSTALL NVCPL (OR USE REVO V4.0.5 UNDER WIN10 APPS/UWP OPTION) THEN GO TO “PROGRAMS & FEATURES” AND UNINSTALL FIRST PHYSX THEN GRAPHICS WITHOUT REBOOTING, DEVICE MANAGER UNINSTALL NV HDAUDIO “INCL. DRIVER SOFTWARE” CHECKED.
FINALLY, BOOT INTO SAFE MODE AND RUN DDU “CLEAN AND RESTART”.

 

are you seriously serious? You are telling ME to run DDU? Offcourse I run DDU, always

 

I did run DDU and I didn't download the DCH version I downloaded the standard version

 

It will auto download/reinstall an old DCH version unless you turn off WiFi or whatever and prevent it from installing.

I just downloaded the DCH version and cleaned it up, have had no problems with it since it will be the new standard later on anyways.

Right, me too. But, if you have the UWP filth version of NVIDIA Control Panel showing in Windows App crap it will do that to you. I did and wasn't aware the muppets installed it when I wasn't looking. After running DDU I had to also manually remove the UWP version of NVIDIA Control Panel. Running DDU alone wasn't enough. It didn't remove the app trash. As soon as I did that the driver installed without error.

Then try the one in OP (desktop) or DCH driver I posted afterwards. Have you tested the previous Nvidia driver 430.64 ? <(Added support for Windows 10 May 2019 Update)>

Here's what I observed comparing between official ones vs XG...
-Less microstutters
-Higher OC Potential (Gives me additional 50 ~ 90 MHz more OC) with the same overvolt (I use +75mv) going higher voltage gives me black screen
-Higher FPS [Not significant-(YMMV)] (due to less stuttering I guess you feel that you are playing at higher frame rate )
-Less latency per a frame (Means smoothie gameplay)

XtremeG has been around for like 20 years lol, I really doubt there's a performance boost

 

I trust them.. because experience has its role too.. Old Is Gold although.. I always said.. YMMV on every single post.. ' might provide benefits for old GPU's but for newer ones like Pascal & up... I don't know really.. there might be non to non significant performance improvements... no harm of trying if you have time to waste

 

I might try this driver when I'm Bored. Just wanted to ask why is the Driver size too big? 602.99mb?
