I will agree...there is no comparison of the 2 cards. The 7900 will win hands down. :p Sager is an awesome computer from what I have seen.

    ahhh
I really confuse, because Radeon X1600 has 512mb and nVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 has 256mb
why nVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 256mb is better if it has less memory tahn Radeon?

the x1600 is actually only 256 mb, 512 is marketing

how do you say bs in your language?

7900 has more pipeline chips and bits and a stronger hamster running the wheel.

The Go7900 is much faster than the X1600 - faster memory, more pipelines. It wins by a long shot.

And yes, the X1600 has 256MB of dedicated memory. I don't think any laptops are offered with a 512MB dedicated X1600. It wouldn't matter anyway, as the X1600 can't use all 512MB to good effect.

yes, the 7900 is the latest and greatest chip out there right now...as stated, the 7900 has faster clocks, faster memory, and more pipes.

the 512mb on ATI cards..half is dedicated memory, the other half is hypermemory.

    pb,out.
