last official driver update was from the 14th of December 2016!
Since then, we've had 2 hotfix drivers!

Please test this driver
I installed it, no smell of smoke yet
-
You can't get validate scores on Futuremark with Hotfix drivers. And I expect almost 101% that scores will be CRIPPLED once again
Hail nGreedia!!

well it's been like this since 2 months, only hotfix drivers so what are you gonna do? stick to ancient drivers to be verified on Futuremark?
Driver v376.33 is one buggy mess they need to pull it off their website ASAP as many people download that since they don't know there are Hotfix Drivers to clean up the nGreedia MessVasudev, i_pk_pjers_i and Papusan like this. -
Did yooou expect better from Nvidia?
I think they prefer to design better working Telemetry and bubble gum gamer boys features than working drivers

and what's funny, is you download the latest driver, and it still includes the GeForce Experience from last month rather than the one released last week
i_pk_pjers_i and Papusan like this. -
Maybe the Telemetry in latest doesn't work as wanted? Maybe they managed to crippled this as well?

I deleted all telemetry after installing GFE including the services and shield service. I don't need no shieldsi_pk_pjers_i likes this. -

Really fed up & tired of keeping track with these A$$hat drivers, Hotfix after Hotfix and then again something breaks WTF, They need to Hotfix their brains permanently first.

Also, I was under the impression that a Hotfix driver is an urgent driver update following a recent release of a buggy driver, not a 1+ month old driver called a hotfix. this should be called a coldfix driver

Speaking of something breaks, reports from the nVIDIA forums are saying that GSYNC when using SLI is broken on Pascal GPUs

I won't be surprised if Nvidia entirely got rid of SLI with the next GPU release.

Goofy fools. Nvidia need to update their ancient UI too. Even AMD have managed to do that.TomJGX, i_pk_pjers_i, Spartan@HIDevolution and 2 others like this.

Doubt that's going to happen any time soon since they want you to use GeForce Experience for everything. -
You guys really should use 376.33 or later even if it leads to lower performances and such. There are security issues with earlier drivers.
-
Personally I'd deal with the security issues , if it means the performance is better and things don't crash.
And there is a very very very rare chance that someone might exploit it.TomJGX, i_pk_pjers_i, Ashtrix and 2 others like this. -
Looks like Microsoft stopped throwing WHQL licenses around...

So that's why DOTA 2 gave me a black screen!

I'm afraid to move from 376.48. Everything is going good. No crashes, no extra toasty CPU/GPU temps, BUT the new driver is like another girl-so pretty and shiny so new (ME WANT)

i still get black puddles in BF1!

ummmm.....ok
an average of 3% decrease in scores. within margin of error?

So I'm not going crazy. Nothing else changed except for the driver. You'd think the scores would stay in the same range but they don't.

Should I update from 372 to 376?
372 had been fine for me so far and I don't play any games that's under 376 improvement list. GTX980M btw -

I'm on 376.19 and things are going pretty well for me. I will be sticking with that until something good comes along. Yes, I realize that may be a very long wait but we got lucky with 376.19. Lightning could strike twice.
-
I downloaded the latest and greatest 376.33 and only to find its actually crippled and my card performs worse than my sister's amd card. hahaa. Reverting to 375.95 drivers.

And here I was thinking my GPU was stepping off with the Dota 2 black screen.. alright, thanks nVIDIA?

Could someone please tell me why the heck when I try to launch Geforce Experience 2.11 instead of launching it acts like I clicked UDPDATE ME TO v. 3.+ and when I click cancel and retry it repeats itself. How to stop this BS and launch current 2.11? Thanks.
NVM. As I see nvidia decided to go full-retard full-win10 and I found the way to stop auto-update "feature".Last edited: Jan 23, 2017 -
Geforce Experience is a cancer. The best way to deal with it is to not install it when you install a new driver. But, at some point it will probably become mandatory.TomJGX, Awhispersecho, Papusan and 1 other person like this. -
GFE, simply gobbles up CPU time. Only time will tel, if NV would integrate deep into their DisplayContainer service along with telemetry in services.msc
-
Now all I hope is for VEGA to offer substantial performance, Else this Ngreedia will steamroll over us with all this garbage as a hot solder mess just like BGA crapshoot.
The Cancer needs to be cut asap and stop the metastasis.i_pk_pjers_i, Spartan@HIDevolution, TomJGX and 4 others like this. -

@Phoenix: Are you gonna try latest NV drivers or stick with tested driver version from HIDEVOC?
-
Spartan@HIDevolution Company Representative
After reading reports that the latest nVIDIA Drivers cause higher GPU temps in multiple posts on the nVIDIA forums and one user reporting "Thank you nVIDIA, you fried my GPU
"
I am sticking to the HIDevolution/MSI Drivers for now which are 376.39 located here: MSI GT73VR 7RF TITAN PRO Drivers -
I don't know what NV is doing with huge lump of money and spending it carelessly, they can atleast donate it to AMD so that their R&D is improved. I think its almost 22:30 in dubai?
-
Spartan@HIDevolution Company Representative
it's 23:05 in Dubai my friend
and I don't know what they're doing man, each driver is worse than the previous driver which was worse than the previous. 0 quality control -
AMD is better now, they made a good decision to start from scratch with QT interface. Bad luck is dirvers but their GPU is solid.
