With this graphics card; along with a Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53GHz, WXGA screen 17", 4GB RAM; will I be able to play the following games on decent graphics?

Left 4 Dead, Frontlines: Fuels of War, Call of Duty 4/5, Company of Heroes, Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, Far Cry II, Sims 3, and America's Army?

This is a toshiba X305 model and I was wondering if i need to look for a new model in order to play these games with decent graphics. Also, IFF I do need to 'upgrade', which specs should I look into getting instead?

The 9800m GTS will easily handle all those games on high settings. You are basically limited to upgrading only a couple of components. The video card is not upgradable, the RAM is maxed out at 4GB, and upgrading a processor is fairly expensive. The X305 is a gaming machine and it'll certainly entertain your gaming needs.

yes you can. that combo is a killer on budget machines. at full res execpt maybe far cry 2 it kills frame rates. but most games you could play cranked up. i play L4D everything high all AA cranked @ 1366x768(my max res) @ 60 fps. and my card is a step down from the gts. and my processor is a wimp compared to a t9400 or the p9500. but if you could i would want to get a gtx 260m. on par with the 9800m gtx but for me im just day dreamin.

You won't have any problems with that GPU.

Welcome to the NBR forums. :)

    No, its not possible.

Next time, I recommend that you post in the Hardware Components and Aftermarket Upgrades for other hardware related questions.

This is a Q715 or Q720? At those prices, you should try looking into the Sager 5797 or NP8662. You'll get much more powerful graphics cards for your money.
