It states that this driver is a hotfix driver for the 860M but on the GeForce Forums users of the 960M and 980M also reported that it fixes game crashing issues for them so I urge everyone to upgrade to them if you were on v359.06. If you prefer an older driver though that works for you, that's another matter.
Note: Please use DDU to uninstall your current driver before installing the new one to minimize the possibilities of any issues that may arise from file/registry remnants of the previous driver.

Well this might be something you may wish to check @Ethrem, let's see if it fixes thine judder.

Installed today, so far no issues, but have only tried JC3 for a few hours today with great performance. Previously was on the 358's, which also performed as expected. This is on my 970m in sig.
Thanks for the link! -
Got this flickering on AC: Syndicate using this driver
EDIT: After restarting the game the flicker is gone.Last edited: Dec 4, 2015hmscott likes this. -

I was getting some odd performance and microstutter with 359.06 on my Zotac Zbox, which has the 860M. Will get these new ones installed as soon as I get the system rebuilt with my new mSATA SSD.

After a long time I decided to try 359.12 HF driver from the old 347.88 driver, So far no issues but I'm not pure enthusiast, still learning (No OC / UEFI /Linux boot, Pure BIOS boot with 60Hz, optimus here - MUX is there to take care of all the AAA titles) - ACS / FO4 / BO3 / TW3, will try those soon..
Cabn confirm no Issues with Dota2 FPS is stable & improved - I can see the FPS boost from 347.88 Vs 359.12 (source 2 engine upgrade is done from valve) -
Interesting..... If you jumped from 347.88, it MAY be worth checking out.

Yeah, the crashes were driving me nuts - I am now running the stock Lenovo drivers on my Y50. Everything back to stable.
I might try these, but first I want to play some games this weekend. Just in case these new drivers bork my laptop again. -
What I don't get is 359 (these drivers are literally the same besides updated profiles) TDRs on both physics tests... Let me run Heaven on custom, extreme, full screen, and log it for an hour. Or until it crashes. Max fans from the start. XTU - 40/40/40/40 - 57W max, short power 57W as well, 105A.... Let's see what the real issue is.... BB in an hour or when it crashes.

After many, many, many, many, and many more futile, useless, and worthless attempts, I have finally discovered that any driver update release for the 880m after 355.98 (Sept 22, 2015) will not work.
The reason for that, as I can deduce from about a dozen attempts to tweak these driver releases after 355.98, is more than likely due to the fact that these latest driver releases are designed for the Maxwell-based GPUs, and not Kepler.
Knowing that now, it would have been nice for the "good" people at Nvidia to acknowledge this for those of us ahead of time who don't have any Maxwell-based cards.
Since 355.98, there has been about 8 or so driver releases (even WHQL) for those of us with the 880m- with the latest , and none of them work.
Even the latest 359.06 release doesn't fix a single thing, as the issues that I/We see with any/every subsequent Nvidia driver update after 355.98 are still there, which is that older games like Bioshock, Skyrim V: TES, and many others fail to see the 880m GPU in Laptops, and that these games only see the Intel IGPU card, and games will not run on Max Details or anything higher than 60 FPS.
I have sent Nvidia the news of this, but as usual, they couldn't care less.
Way to go Nvidia! Kudos to you for your continuation of putting out crappy drivers this year that fix nothing.

I almost think it's NVIDIA fanboys badmouthing AMD and lying about dead AMD GPUs. -
80C? Cheap pcbs...
And as for this driver I'm about to lose it. Driver works great, CPU modded at all? TDR. Yet I can run wprime... The CPU is actually functioning better than it used to... Its a good thing I have Armin blowing up my ears right now or I would literally lose what's left of my mind. If wPrime passes no issue, and I did one full pass on my RAM with Memtest....... And Catzilla is actually brutal, much more do than either 3DMark...what the flying hockey sticks am I missing? -

big armin fan right here
btw, always depends how old the cards were and what kinda stress theyve already gone through. those 95C over a period of a month could justve been the last bit of strain they needed to fail...

Back on topic, the only reason AMD had so many failures that needed to be baked was because they cheaped on the solder. Literally. It would have been excusable for one generation but it started with the 6k and continues with the 2xxX... No excuse, sorry.Spartan@HIDevolution and jaybee83 like this. -
