I was wondering which one is better, I know that Nvidia is superior, but could this make ATI cach up? No offense to ATI useers, I have heard and had experience with both. Thanks in advance![]()

There the same its more of lack of drivers(for the other) that puts one ahead.
-
As far as gaming performance goes, NVidia seems to be soundly thrashing ATI, but they both make fine cards.
-
Nvidia is superior to ATI, so for that reason i would say SLI
-
well ati is cheaper than nvidia, two 2900xt's cost almost as much as one 8800ultra and they perform better together, if your all about bang for buck ati is much cheaper, but nvidias cards are much better singularly
-
Umm, no-nVIDIA is superior to ATI in performance too, with or without dual cards. ATI cards are cheaper because they are made with less quality.
-
Are you talking about desktop cards? Because crossfire is (nearly) nonexistent in laptops to the best of my knowledge. For desktop performance, check out this table:

no, everyone is wrong, everyone.
Nvidia is only in the lead because ATI has been working on completely redesigning the video card altogether, and we should see this by mid 2008.
ATI has always been in the lead in quality, performance, and value. I think the only reason that they're losing the R600vsG80 race is because they didn't put all their efforts into it.
I believe that ATI will make a comeback and lead the video cards for 2008, and even more so since they have AMD's bigger budget and knowleadge of CPU's backing them. -
