The "SE" designation usually means the card is crippled in some way; for example, the Go7600 could have a 64-bit memory bus, which means significantly reduced performance.
Check our Acer forum and see if anyone has that laptop. Also see if you can find it at another online store to confirm whether it is a Go7600-SE or not.

I think its too good to be true, Never seen such high spec at that price. Cant find that laptop for a similar price anywhere. Probably a scam.
    Thank you.

Yah if a card's postfix doesnt have a 'T' or 'X' in it, it means it's a slower version of the card that's being sold for less.

According to this post this model of Acer with the Geforce go 7600SE will get a 3dmark05 score of around 3100 whilst I think the non-SE will get about 3400 so there is a slight drop in performance. The next step down (X1400/go 7400) only get around 1900-2300 on 3dmark05 so it's still a pretty good gpu by the looks of it. That does look like a great price considering other vendors have it priced around £950!

You already have a thread going on this right below this one. Double-posting clutters the forums.

It's still faster than a 7400. If I had to give you a rough estimate right now, I'd say the 7600 SE will operate at 2/3 the performance level of a normal 7600.

You can look at the go 7600 se in more detail using Rivatune 2.0 Final edition if you can persuade one of the salesmen in a walk in store to let you run it.
Make sure the card you get isn't 64 bit. Shoot for 128.
The core clock on the go 7600 256mb (128bit) is 351 mhz which is slightly slower than a standard 7600 at 400mhz I think. I think its missing a few other bits and bobs too to save on costs / battery life. By all accounts its still and really good card if your gamer who doesn't need to have graphics maxed out in Oblivion :)
