Stutter?, what stutter? I'm surprised to say that I'll stick with previous driver since I don't have any trouble. That doesn't mean it won't magically appear.

Hotfix drivers can't give you valid score on Futuremark leaderboard. And I haven't seen my GP have tested this Nvidia driver yet  Fire up your MSI bruh :hi: Stop benching only when you can see smoke comes out from the backside

I left some pretty harsh criticism for ManuelG in the GeForce Forum thread, but we already know NVIDIA has no regard for the opinions of customers. Might as well urinate into a headwind.

This is only one of the reasons I NEVER use stock GeForce drivers anymore. I use only those modded by me or by @j95.

In concept, this is exactly why we use the MSMG Toolkit to remove the cancer from Windows 10. Simple solution: say no. Remove the filth and have it your way.

As Always, Use DDU to clean up old Nvidia install(s) before Custom Install of the new Nvidia release - and only install the Graphics Driver, HD Audio driver if you need it, and PhysX driver ->> *ONLY* !!
    And, now, add doing this:
Probably a good idea to start "flipping off" your webcam before each gaming session, so Nvidia (/ Microsoft / NSA / CIA / FBI) gets clued in that we don't appreciate their crap :)

"Seems the new nVidia TELEMETRY / SPYING policy is a great hit :

Good job nVidia.... You can now expect to join the Windows 10 spying ****-storm parade... Good decision... Congrats on losing even more customers to AMD !!!

nVidia now officially sucks ass... hmmm.. more ass !!??..."

Nvidia should consider themself very lucky, that AMD is not a competitor yet in the mobile gaming. If not, it would look much uglier.

No, @j95 driver mods delete a TON of stuff. You delete all but 5 folders before installing them. There is basically nothing left except drivers, PhysX and NVIDIA Control Panel.

Simply unpack the driver, then remove all unnecessary trash before installation. All should do this.

Just want to add my own experience with these drivers since I had to upgrade to make sure I'm not exposed to the security vulnerabilities of all previous drivers.
    Famous.
    Last.
    Words!

382.05 and 382.19 render the Nvidia Control Panel nonfunctional. It crashes upon start and since my Optimus system highly depends on it to make sure games don't start on the iGPU, I cannot use them.

Thank you Nvidia for making me choose between:
    1. A fully functional but unsecure driver [373.06, previously 368.22]
    2. A nonfunctional but secure driver.

Maybe I have missed something, but the pure Drivers isn't the unsecured part of the Nvidia Package. Only Nvidia's bloatware(GeForce Experience). You could do the opposite what many others do... Remove the pure drivers(see pict) in Newest so called secure driver Package and add in what missed from latest working driver. Aka make your own Frankenstein Nvidia graphics Driver

You may want to reread my topic on the Nvidia Display Driver Security breach. The unsecured part is the Display Driver Itself. Yes, a few weeks ago it was GFE, but now it's not the case. The 10+ disclosed vulnerabilities are all part of the Display Driver and that's why I recommended everyone jump on the newer versions, including myself. Sadly, since I encountered that error I cannot install newer drivers unless they fix it, so I will be using an unsecure driver till then.

Thank you for the suggestion but the NVcpl GUI and DLL are also part of the display driver itself [Display.Driver Folder] and as such I cannot go Dr. Frankenstein to merge the 2 drivers together, 373.06 and 382.05.

No biggie, but you were too slow to react lol :D
Anyway, here's another unhappy Nvidia customer on their forums with the same problem: NVcplui Crash.
It may not be widespread, but at least I know the problem isn't just on my end.

That's what happens when people don't use DDU to properly uninstall the previous drive. the NVCPL works just fine here.

Thank you for the advice but sadly I already did that this morning.
My bad for not adding this crucial bit of information in my first testimonial for this driver version:

I used DDU to remove any trace of 368.22 after uninstalling it. Restarted, installed 382.05 with clean install option -> Nvcplui crash!
Uninstalled, used DDU to remove 382.05 again. Restarted, installed 382.19 with clean install option -> Nvcplui crash!
Uninstalled, used DDU to remove 382.19. Restarted, installed 373.06 [which is the last Nvidia driver to have no telemetry in it or the login-infested 3.X GFE] with clean install option -> Nvcplui is alive and well! :D

Yes, before you add another nitpick all DDU operations were done in Safe Mode.

This is why to me it's pretty clear that the 382.XX branch on my Windows 7 x64 systems seems to be the culprit and reported it accordingly :)
