And it is time to uninstall GeForce Experience again.

 

So cool, how this Whisper mode will work? What it will do? Capturing FPS? I'm already doing that at 30fps, that really makes laptop running cooler.

I hope it reduces the voltage and boost curve. So that I can further reduce temps. I can already play everything at gsync refresh of 60 fps. I want to further reduce power consumption while maintaining that 60fps

errrr out of curiosity how do you install this? I am a newbie. Thanks.

 

Download the drivers.
Extract drivers to a folder.
Drag and drop the modded INFs into the display.driver folder.
Uninstall existing nvidia drivers.
Reboot into safe mode.
Clear pc of any residual driver files with DDU.
Reboot with driver signing enforcement disabled.
Install drivers and click install anyway when an error message appears.
Reboot and you're good to go.

You forgot telling, he should delete all folders outside those who is shown in the picture. Aka Remove all Nvidia bloat

What does this INF file do more than the standard one bro?

I have an MSI laptop, where do I place the file?

also, if I do place the file, will I need to disable Driver Signature for it to install?

 

I just tried copy/pasting those INF files in the display.driver folder, when I tried installing the driver, it showed me a 3D Vision Controller Driver v369 which is much older than the actual driver

I still need to do another comparison but this driver has cause some strange CPU usage in BF1, I also dropped 78 points in my FS but I would think that's in the margin of error.

This driver is not as good for BF1. I posted the crazy CPU usage last night and this morning I reverted to 382.53 and it is much better. Here is the data I just collected.

 

I think this driver is not yet official. Because the nvida site is not yet available. And when i look at the driver softpedia driver website for quadro

 

it's definitely up now.

Probably equal safe as the rest coming from Nvidia Remember run benchmarks and then compare the bench results you get vs. your best from before

I notice that it won't auto update if the drivers are not signed as I've never had nvidia drivers auto update.

Try 382.53 driver it has good vulkan performance.

 

Need to un-check auto driver update using NV GFE.

I don't think GFE auto-updates anything. You can tell it to download them for you, that's about it. I believe you have to trigger the install yourself.

 

I used old version of GFE and not the latest one. Probably some 3-6 months old.
