The description on that bug. /facepalm

 

Not to mention, the last game which was called just Wolfenstein came out in 2009. I'm gonna assume they mean Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, which doesn't surprise me because that game uses Vulkan only, and Vulkan in general is buggy as hell on Optimus.

Which driver are you running? Is it auto-updated or do you driver updater utility from MSFT?
I have no plans to update the driver because I'm still using 388. I follow @Papusan mantra If ain't broke don't hit update button.

you've always been my friend d00d, I just don't like that popular comment in every driver thread you make otherwise you're cool. you know me, I'm honest and straight forward.

 

Did you have the color profile not sticking after restart bug? if so, is it really fixed?

 

I'll look into that. I use the nvidia profile because it allows me to set the dynamic range to full from limited.

 

express install with GFE as usual. All is good.

 

I only really ever use the colour profile settings in the 'Change Resolutions' option of NCP and I haven't seen that reset in any of the recent drivers I've used.

 

The settings that reset are gamma and color changes. Maybe if I get some time today I will test it.

 

I just did a quick check and no, the particular settings you mention did not reset for me. The only time it did not take affect was when my PC booted into the lockscreen and once I logged in and landed on the desktop the saved settings took effect.

This is due to changes to the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. We are trying to work on a driver fix but it is not in this driver.

 

when will you fix throttling on Alienware machines?

 

I personally believe it is Alienware's fault.

 

AMD cards don't throttle.

 

I took a GPU off an AW put it in a CLEVO and it works flawlessly ... Maybe it's Alienware and Nvidia cards.

 

New driver .59, obviously with support for titan V. Also "optimal" game experience for Fall Out 4 VR.
