Leaked NVIDIA TITAN V Benchmarks Show Volta GPU Demolishing All Competitors
    [IMG]

"Unigine's Superposition benchmark also yielded some impressive numbers. At stock speeds, the TITAN V scored 5,222 in the 8K preset, and 9,431 in the 1080p Extreme preset. The latter is particularly interesting—famed overclocker Kingpin had previously taken a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, stripped off the heatsink and bathed the card in liquid nitrogen (LN2), and overclocked it to 2,581MHz, which resulted in a score 8,642 in the 1080p Extreme preset. The TITAN V scored nearly 800 points higher."

"Of course, NVIDIA is not in a rush to bring Volta to the consumer market, as AMD has not fully caught up with Pascal (Vega comes close). The silver lining to that is it gives NVIDIA time to tweak things and flesh out better drivers for when Volta does infiltrate the mainstream gaming sector. Based on what we've seen here, we can hardly wait."

And from the RED camp... AMD quietly made some Radeon RX 560 graphics cards worse

"Consumers lose when shenanigans like this occur. No wonder AMD kept the change under wraps. It’s good to see the company moving quickly to respond to the outrage over the discovery—but it would be better if this issue never occurred to begin with. What remains to be seen is how clearly the cut-down cards are described going forward. And the cut-down models aren’t even cheaper."

Getting error on built-in benchmark of games Deus Ex Mankind & Ghost Recon Wildlands! Im experiencing total blackout in the middle of the benchmark and I can't even go to taskbar or task manger when the blackout occured.

While when I test it on DX12 mode(Deus Ex) I'm getting the following error.
    error.jpg
I'am not sure what I did wrong. I followed all the instruction indicated on the mod. The only thing I skip is using DDU on safe mode. Should I repeat the step while in safe mode?

Unstable OC might be the cause. If you're on stock clocks, then use control Panel to uninstall nvidia driver and restart into safe mode. Afterwards, Open DDU and Clean the driver remnants.

Is it just me or is there no difference between the notebook and desktop drivers because i compared the same INF file in both version and they all list the same device IDs.

Either there's no difference or there is a difference and I am not looking in the right spot.

You can check the size of inf using driver store explorer. Versions before 370 had less than 300MB esp. Notebook drivers.
Post that version the size is consistently above 500 Megs.

I have an eurocom f5, problem is that i want to go back to older nvidia driver 378.49 for let working the aftermarket display (the best display for tornado f5 ). But when i try to install the driver i have an error, the hardware is not recognized. I have W10 anniversary edition, you have some suggestion for me?

That's because that driver is very old and doesn't support your current graphics card.

Maybe @j95 can make like a custom INF for you to force it to install but don't quote me on that.

Dude just submit a support ticket to Eurocom for the latest BIOS which includes the brightness control fix and Nvidia drive black screen issue with the 120hz panel.

After BIOS update everything works perfectly including full brightness controls.

They will provide you with an updated BIOS via remote flash.

    already Try to:
-download DDU and run it in safe mode.
-boot windows in "disabled signature mode" (google it if you don't know exact step, here an example where I use the second method listed)

That's the best driver I have used on W10 RS1 and it has best performance and thermals I've tested so far. Witcher 3 on High/Ultra runs at 60 FPS w/o any lags. On later driver version it hovers between 50-60 fps and not steady. I'm on 388.59 after Mr. Phoenix suggested it.
That strange GTA V stuttering can be fixed by enabling nvidia TXAA and AMD CHS to give me steady 60 fps.
@Papusan Did you notice newer driver slowing down randomly after newer WHQL nvidia driver is released?
I feel there's a a mechanism to intentionally throttle the game performance when using older drivers for more than 2 months.

Or that Nvidia let M$ Morons do the ****y game, LOL
See Mico$hitity screw up for AMD's users as well. The ****y driver game :D

"The patch is specifically for PCs with AMD legacy cards that got a driver update through Windows Update that brought the version of the driver to 22.19.128.0.

Microsoft admitted that the driver was pushed out erroneously deliberately, and that it resulted in various display related issues.

Users were unable to work with multi-monitor setups and control the display resolution after the update according to Microsoft."

You can't say if the drivers are latest since hotfix drivers will be available in few hours if there's major issue.
