[NVIDIA Control Panel][SLI][Diablo III]: With V-Sync on and SLI enabled, the game freezes after switching windows (ALT+TAB) a few times. [1951584]
[Notebook]: The driver may fail to initialize the GPU. [200354056]


Windows 10 Issues
[Far Cry 5]: Green flickering occurs in the game when using HDR with non-native resolution. To work around, either quit and then restart the game while in the desired resolution, or press [Alt+tab] away from and then back to the game, or press [Alt+Enter] to switch to windowed mode and then back to full-screen mode.
[NVIDIA TITAN V][G-Sync]: G-Sync displays may go blank when switching between different overclocked memory clocks multiple times. [200361272]
[SLI][GeForce GTX 780 Ti]: There is no display output when connecting the DisplayPort and two DVI monitors. [1835763]
[GeForce TITAN (Kepler-based)]: The OS fails after installing the graphics card on a Threadripper-enabled motherboard. [1973303]
[Pascal GPUs][Gears of War 4]: Blue-screen crash may occur while playing the game. [2008731]
[GeForce GTX 1080 Ti][Doom]: The game crashes due to the driver reverting to OpenGL 1.1 when HDR is enabled. [2049623]

I might try new drivers on RS4.
@Papusan Maybe Phoenix will celebrate Barbecue party on Friday since its a holiday and Phoenix doesn't work on weekends and enjoy riding his car at 300Km/s with his friends.
As always newer driver is bad upon first usage. Let others do the testing and let me sit and play GTA 5/Witcher3 Skellige.

 

Skipping this one...both custom resolutions and nVidia color settings are broken (FCU).

 

I'm still using 388 drivers. I'm waiting for SCU w/o K word.

Except the part where he totally redacts what's been fixed.. it's almost like we've been at this for how many years now and we don't understand software development is hard..

 

maybe he equates every fix for every new bug, thus neutralizing them and only lists the excess bugs

and sure its hard, but is it too much to ask not to release a driver that totally nukes your system...? look at the quoted post in the nvidia feedback thread!

@j95 have you got any updated drivers for 780m? m17xr4. just done the upgrade to 780m tonight and having problems. on 345.20 and thinking this may be the reason my 2d clocks it wont kick in to full speed no matter what i run,

 

That has a good chance it isn't caused by the drivers, something else is wrong with that person's system. They appear to not be acknowledging or trying the cavalcade of decent feedback given to them by others and just blindly blaming the new drivers. Not saying nVidia is perfect by any stretch and there are bound to be bugs due to endless varations of system configuration, but at least listen to those trying to help debug.

 

Should I get an egg and tinfoil and put it on top of my 230W MXM GTX 1070 heatsink with Furmark running @Papusan ?
or will the magic smoke come out?

 

Most Msi still use MXM slots. You can put in a new without the big hassle. Worse with full BGA. Some have even big problems get/obtain a new/used MB for their models outside warranty. Aka they are heavly screwed without max extended warranty.

 

I'm not going above 210W, poopoosan
206W is enough for PUBG to never hit power limit. Ngreedia pascal temp throttling already prevents me from locking the voltage on 1.062v because it drops to 1.050v or 1.043v. I guess I need to pay the green tax huh?
