    +rep bruh

@Phoenix are you ready to test this one? Will you add it in your MSI driver thread?
A good advice from Poopusan Camp... Hold your hand over your nose this time as well while testing to avoid any nasty strange odors or black smoke. Only the Second Hotfix driver within a week :D Or better say the 3rd including the last released WHQL driver.

    @j95 Here we go again

What did he really expect?

Why? He could be mad. The more Hotfix drivers Nvidia is able to push out the bigger is the chance to get a working “WHQL” driver

I did test and streamed for like 2.5 hours using this driver and didnt really have any stutters or hiccups. The game itself is badly optimized as it is but so far I'm still able to enjoy playing the game :D (MHW)

There is new vulkan whql driver from nvidia. I'm testing the WHQL drivers and once it passes all my tests, I'm going to install modded drivers. So far no issues or stuttering.

Custom resolution/refresh rate might not stick in 398.91.
Sadly, I have run out of monthly data limit to test Quake Champions.

@j95 I would like to apologized for doubting your drivers. I was really in doubt at first as I have no clue about this stuff and only learned here in the forum. I recently encountered a 5 second delay when pressing the battery icon in task bar with the update windows 10 1709 build 16299.611. @Vasudev told me it is Optimus issue which he suggested installing your driver.. I did installed 398.98 HF and amazingly sorted my problem. Thank you very much and keep up your good work. I can really feel the difference between the stock drivers vs yours. Your drivers are way way much better. Thank you again.

I'm testing generic stock drivers for now for some diagnosis and its really working as per my needs, Now its time to take it further using j95. I remember stock drivers gave crap performance while his drivers worked w/o issues.

@j95 Why ddidn't nv_dispi.inf install on 980M BGA GPU? For some odd reason, its using nvdmi.inf for display drivers unlike nv_dispi.inf
    Here are the screenshots:

The reason I got nvidia GPU is/was the AMD drivers getting messed up every quarterly or annually. Fast forwarding it now, I hate nvidia because of borked drivers that mess up the hardware/software monthly.
Getting an AMD card next time even though my FPS is lower than green team on Day 1 since I need my GPU to work atleast 2 years.

    Minor changes desktop wise.
Clearly you didn't download the driver package. Anyway, I've just updated both driver package and INFs
    Re-download driver package/INFs.

I downloaded nvidia driver from website, I'll download your repacked installer and try again.
The INF zip file contains only nv_dispi.inf

    INFs already included...
Use these INFs to avoid downloading driver package.

Does Nview really work? It never worked for me.

Yep BGA/MXM. No entries for Nview, I just leave it there...less folders to delete greatly increases the likelihood that people will end deleting them lol.

Yeah pretty much. I deleted nvdia drivers accidentally keeping only hd audio for pretty small driver install, luckily it was in recycle bin and restored them and driver install was a success.

Nvidia installer is failing but inf install works. Any idea? I'm on EFI w/ secure boot. Legacy boot has very slow boot time on my PC, takes 45secs.

If you downloaded the driver package why are you still using the other one? Did you copy the updated nv_dispi.inf /Optimus? DSE disabled, you still need my setup.cfg file.
UEFI will work fine without secure boot...

I downloaded your repacked nvidia drivers and tried it by copying all inf files. It seems my card uses nvdmi, nvami or something or even nv_dispi.inf I don't know how but earlier, copying nv_displ.inf worked for me on 388.71.
Without Secure boot my boot times are high dunno why it happens on dell but on lenovo and others, Legacy or secure boot has a difference of just 3-5 secs whereas on my machine it takes 30 sec-1min on NVMe drive. While on Linux on SATA SSD, it boots under 5 sec.
