nVidia Graphic Mobile Interface in Action:
“nVidia may not make any cell phones of their own, but the interface that they have created should be highly sought after. It’s silky smooth and — dare I say — maybe even Apple iPhone-like. In the video which you can view below, we’ll see a user scan through the various menu items on a rolling conveyor belt, jumping into a samurai-themed fighting game, a photo slideshow, and other multimedia content that every mobile phone should have these days. The 3D windows and fun animations will be reminiscent of Windows Vista’s aero effects.”
And here you can see video presenting a new interface

Nice find!
But the eyecandy needs an adequately powerful GPU and it means high power consumption, even at the 45nm fabrication process. -
Yes you are right, but I definitelly want that in my future smartphone or pda =) -
Cell phones like the Razr have the Geforce 4800 in them, I believe

That is very cool, thanks for sharing. I was very impressed with what such a small device is capable of.
I really like that interface too. I guess you'll need a rather large screen to see all that though. -
It is a bit of a shame that the GoForce in the Motorola phones were disabled, which was one of the reasons I didn't get the V3x, but then again, if they were constantly enabled, the phone would probably become hot and stuff.
I wonder what for graphics the iPhone uses, that seems to have a decent interface. Then again, the iPhone is more like a PDA than mobile phone.
I wonder how well ATI's Imageon compares to the GoForce. Haven't seen a lot of benchmarks on those.
