will it run on my pc which is a 512mb ram and with Integrated IntelĀ® Graphics Media Accelerator 900 (with up to 128MB shared video memory)?
-
512 ram is fine. I run the game it works perfectly on my system with the ATI Radeon 9000.
My last desktop which I had 1 month ago had an Intel Dedicated 96mb card. And it ran like sh** even on the lowest settings.
So it wont run or will run like at 1 fps meaning so slow you wont be able to drive with your shared card. Loading the game itself takes like forever on my Intel card.
Sorry about that, though I would try it because your harddrive is pretty fast. -
what about half life 2?
-
No way will your computer run Half Life 2
If you had a better video card it would run, because all your other specs are good.
HP nx series are business laptops if I am not wrong, so why would you buy one of those to play games? If you bought it for potability then there are way better laptops which are light and good enough to run those 2 games. -

I would not game on the Intel GMA900.
I doubt it will play AoEIII, it does not meet the requirements.
Half Life 2 might be playable at the lowest possible settings, but even then, it would be choppy and not enjoyable. .
512MB RAM is a performance killer too. -
i jus played nfs most wanted...working really well...
so i guess no worries...still have to play half life..
i bought this laptop for student purposes...mainly...but have go into all these games recently

Aerosense, I don't mean to attack you, but I think your gaming expectations are low or something. You said that NFS most wanted was perfectly fine on your radeon 9000????
I have trouble playing it on my x700 on my laptop at 800x600 with most settings on medium. If I don't turn on AA/AF then it looks horrible.
It's a very demanding game, I doubt it plays on your radeon9000.
Sorry it will not play on your Intel graphics very well at all.
Cheers,

the ram is sufficient for gaming but the graphics card is a bit poor. Look at the maximum resolution of the graphics card by right clicking the desktop, go to properties, click on settings and drag the slider to the very right as far as it will go. Most games reqiure a high resolution which your GPU might not be able to support
need for speed most wanted
