The latest 9.4 driver for ati mobility HD2xxx, HD3xxx, HD4xxx. 100% working
simple steps:
1. download the latest ati desktop driver Catalyst 9.4.
2. download mobility modder.net (actually, it's not useful)
3. upzip ati driver to C:\ati
4. run mobility modder, locate the source to C:\ati, click modify until finished
5. open property of "My Computer", check the "hardware device", check the property of your mobility radeo n display card, it should be something like"PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9591&SUBSYS_FF1E1179" (FF1E1179 is id of TOSHIBA)
6. go to "C:\ATI\Support\9-4_xp32_dd\XP_INF" similar path, open "CX_78234" or "CX_xxxxx" inf file, add ""ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 3650" = ati2mtag_M76, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9591&SUBSYS_FF1E1179" to that list.
7. go to "C:\ATI\Support\9-4_xp32_dd" path, open "CX_78234" or "CX_xxxxx" inf file, under [WINXP], add"0x9591:0xFF1E1179," add",R6_97,R6_98,R6_99" after label, which is very important!!
8. go to "C:\ATI\Support\9-4_xp32_dd" path, open "INSTALL.inf" file, under [WINXP], add"0x9591:0xFF1E1179," add",R6_97,R6_98,R6_99" after label, which is very important!!
9. done! run "setup.exe" under "C:\ATI\Support\9-4_xp32_dd" path.
notice: the trick is that you should add "&SUBSYS_FF1E1179" to your inf file, and add "0x9591:0xFF1E1179" to two inf files, and very important add "R6_99" to two inf files.
if you miss "R6_99" in two inf files, the program will even not run to "&SUBSYS_FF1E1179" line. it seems check the label first.
cheers~
