    Hi,
I dont know how many of you have played this grand strategy game, but I will surely rate it high and much has been worked on improving visuals than the previous TW games. However this game is very unoptimized and bugs still rule, the latest patch 1.2 solved many of the CTDs and bugs, made AI much better but they never tried fixing the SLI issue. I read in many forums that ATI users dont have any problem running the game on crossfire but Nvidia users get less than half the fps when they run Empire on SLI, but not all. I belong to the unlucky group, this game has got lot of visuals but the engine can handle all the cards quite well. An 8600M GT guy can play it well on high settings with SM3(high).
Now my problem is that I usually get above 30fps on the campaign map and battle map, it decreases only when I zoom to a unit. Now that is when I'm running on a single card which is integrated(hybridSLI). I would get a big boost if i run the second card but it does the opposite. I get much lower fps(unplayable) when i use 2 cards which is peculiar. The new drivers dont seem to have a working nv CPL, so i tried forcing SLI for Empire by using nhancer. I got a massive fps boost when i tested but than i was getting graphic corruption too . I could well run the game on ultra using 2 cards but the visual corruption...
Any idea if this is driver related or the game is not utilising SLI?

I think the SLI the game uses its the regular SLI (like 9800m GT x2) and not hybrid SLI (you're running it with the notebook on your sig right?) Im not totally sure it works like that but I believe your problem is because of that.

But all the games I ran so far work perfect in hybridSLI mode, even css and Q4 which didnt have this concept at its time. I will have to contact Nvidia than?

Hybrid SLI makes you intergrated GPU work to save energy... that is why the game is slowing down... Im guessing the other games didn't have SLI support or had very limited support so your Dedicated GPU was forced to run it

I'm running on the integrated GPU and I'm getting 25-30 fps and sometimes above that. i would be getting near 50 if the discrete card could work well. ETW doesnt seem to support SLI cos many people are complaining. I wonder why they didnt inclkude SLI support...

Your CPU will be the bottleneck in E:TW, and your integrated card isn't strong enough to make a difference in games being released today.

Yes I know that integrated card cant handle all the games, but i'm already getting 25-30 fps in game when using the integrated card. I would be getting near 50 fps on high-ultra settings but its the opposite.
Can someone tell me where I can report this problem to nvidia by email? I'm sure its hybridSLI that is not supported by the game.
