    Did you ever get a message saying you need a certain driver to play it? If so, try launching it from a shortcut instead of the CD, or get a newer driver from laptopvideo2go.com

    the video drivers are the latest update. this is a brand new gateway p-6831fx laptop. did all the windows updates as well. what a pain in the ass.

    When does the game crash? Make a shortcut on your desktop for the game as it will definitely crash if you try to run it from the autolauncher on the cd.

    thx all. it was crashing because i was launching from the autorun ( cd). i went to programs , games and launched from there. seemed to play well. not sure i like this vista yet! lol. vynle
