    Ok so i was messing around with drivers and when i went into device manager I went into my nvidia display adapter and i accidently removed nvidia. Now when i go into display adapter it says standard vga graphics adapter. how do i get the nvidia one back? thanks

    You need to reinstall your graphics driver. You should have gotten a CD with it when you bought your notebook. Otherwise go to Dells website and download the latest one for your notebook. (You put in your express tag to see your particular downloads.)

    or possibly a system restore if you dont have a cd. Fabarati, your advice is very insightful

    I know. That was what i was gonna suggest. But since Wu Jen said it, I didn't have to. You do know that a few posts from now, someone IS gonna suggest the exact same thing, right?

    And doing a system restore might undo some other stuff. Downloading a driver or installing it from the CD is the best route.

    yea the system restore did some wierd ****, like mess with the resolution and everything lol. thanks for the help, i just put the drivers in and all is back to normal, i even scored a higher 3dmark06 :)
