I'm ordering a new 15" lappy in late June, hopefully there'll be a new mid-range available by then.

If the 9600M-Gs provides anything like the performance of the desktop 9600, that will be the card to look for. It is an excellent mid-range card. Hopefully the mobile version will carry over the 256-bit bus and have a similar amount of shader units, and not just be an overclocked 9500M (aka 8700M-GT, since 9500M-GS = 8600M-GT from the specs at least).

I have no idea when these cards will reach the market, I doubt the higher range will appear anytime soon since the 8800M-GTS and -GTX were just released.

    Thanks for posting. :)
