    new laptop. how will it fo with games?

    i seen one at bestbuy that was a athlon 64 4000+, gig ram, ati radeion x600 . all for $1100. i know that can handle bf2 on low to med. i wanted to know if u could find a better one for better deal. looking to spend no more than 1100.

    Hmmm, the Acer TM 4402 has a x700 would is better but the Video Ram is only at 64mb, but its better, and is more or less around $1100

    Compaq v4000t with 128MB x700 would be another option. I'd recommend customizing on HP.com. Good Luck.

    Definitely get a 128MB card if you plan on playing the latest games - 64MB is just too low - most games require that. In fact, BF2 requires a 128MB card.

    I'd also recommend the dv4000 or the v4000t w/ the 128MB X700. Great for games.
