I was playing NFS:Carbon on my system (specs in sig) just a few hours ago, graphics details on medium, native resolution, ran great. Your graphics card is similar to mine in performance, so you should do just fine.

Really? In full detail?? That's very cool. My friend owns an A8Jm with a Geforce Go 7600. Even on medium settings, it can't quite handle the game smoothly, and when I tried to make the settings higher, It hung up on the first curve. He should have gotten a w3j instead of the one he has now since he's crazy about NFS. This info would really piss him off. Haha.

The graphics card is insufficient, although you should be start the game anyway.. Perhaps it's a driver issue. Try updating to the latest drivers.

i think windows vista has a nfs carbon specific issue. that might be the source of some problems.

i own most wanted for 360 and it's pretty good with all the intense chase scenes. Underground 2 I think I actually prefer (need to play the game again). The reason is that I loved the whole night time city lights atmosphere and playing the game on my cousins 6600gt made the game look beautiful on max settings. You could see all the light reflections and everything. I can't want to try the game out again on my 8600gs.
